What do I write in a new baby card?
Three things are enough: a warm congratulation, a short prayer for the baby, and a wish for the parents - rest, health, an easy start. Two or three lines beat a long message. Every phrase on this page can be copied into a chat, or you can start a card with it already written and add your name and theirs.
How do I congratulate the parents when I do not know if it is a boy or a girl?
Most phrases on this page never say whether it is a boy or a girl: new blessing, new guest and little one work for either. The lines with the boy or girl wording are for when you already know. If you are unsure, address the parents and the joy itself, and nobody will notice anything missing.
Can I put the baby's name on the card?
